Job summary

Parker Aerospace is hiring a Machinist for the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm). You will operate production machines from blueprints, perform precision machining, align parts, and set cutting parameters.

This role emphasizes reading diagrams, maintaining quality, and following SPC guidelines in a collaborative team environment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of machine shop experience, strong manual dexterity, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of general or related machine shop experience.
• Manual dexterity required.
• Ability to read work instructions or blueprints.
• Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines from blueprints, sketches, and route sheets.
• Perform repetitive machining operations and minor adjustments.
• Align and fasten parts using standard fixtures.
• Set feeds, speeds and depths of cut for quality parts.
• Inspect parts for burrs and surface damage; report issues.
• Perform SPC requirements and maintain a clean work area.
• Adhere to safety rules and cooperate with team members.
