Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist II for 2nd or 3rd shift with 3+ years of experience. You will operate and set-up CNC machines, follow drawings and program instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement and a win-first culture in a production setting. You will perform tool changes, minor offsets, routine PMs, and 5S housekeeping, while ensuring OOQ-compliant measurements and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and Set-up CNC machines within tolerances following work instructions and in accordance with machine programs and engineering drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining of a variety of parts and different metals with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling, and/or make minor offsets and adjustments as needed for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality by working to OOQ standards and with measuring equipment; interpret readings.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards within work area.
• Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.
