Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a 2nd or 3rd shift CNC Machinist with 3+ years of experience to program, set up and operate CNC machines. You will produce machined parts, maintain quality records, and ensure adherence to safety and GMP/GDP standards.

You will handle tooling changes, minor offsets, and routine PM tasks while meeting productivity targets. Strong math, measurement, and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required
• Associate's degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within tolerances to drawings and work instructions
• Perform complex CNC work including progressive machining of parts and different materials with tight tolerances
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for tooling wear
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measuring tools
• Complete routine maintenance per PM schedule and perform basic hand finishing
• Adhere to GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards
• Maintain safe working practices and report safety issues
• Record activities in the job tracking system and support continuous improvement
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area
• Performs other duties as required
