Job summary

B&A Precision is seeking a CNC Operator to operate Fanuc-controlled lathes and mills, ensuring tight tolerances on aerospace, defense, and medical components. You will verify dimensions with micrometers, calipers, and gauges, edit G-code as needed, and collaborate with teammates to meet schedules.

The role is full-time with first shift, offering competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CNC operating experience.
• Basic blueprint reading; GD&T desirable.
• Competent with micrometers, calipers, and other inspection gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC horizontal lathes (2–3 axis) and CNC milling machines (3, 4, and 5 axis) to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints; apply basic GD&T concepts to verify critical features.
• Use precision measuring instruments and gauges to validate dimensions and surface requirements.
• Leverage basic knowledge of Fanuc controls and familiarity with G-code to run jobs accurately.
• Partner with the Shop Supervisor and team to meet quality and delivery targets.
