Job summary

B&A Precision, a long-standing CNC manufacturer, is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machine Set Up Technician to set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis vertical mills. You will read blueprints, program with G-code, and use precision instruments to verify critical dimensions.

Reporting to the shop President, you will contribute to a committed, team-based production environment focused on Aerospace, Defense, and Medical components. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC milling experience.
• Able to set up and run 3, 4, and 5 axis vertical milling machines.
• Familiar with Fanuc controls and G-code programming.
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T (desirable).

B&A Precision, a mid-sized CNC manufacturing company which has been in business for over 50 years manufacturing components for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries, is seeking a skilled CNC milling machinist with the following skill sets:

• Ability set up and run 3, 4, and 5 axis vertical CNC Milling machines.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to write and edit basic CNC programs (G-code programming).
• Capability to program and work with positional indexers.
• Ability to read blueprints and working knowledge of GD&T is desirable.
• Competence in the use of various measuring instruments and gages to verify both production and first piece dimensions.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.
• Willing to work in a team-based environment.
• Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience.

This is a full-time, 1st shift position and pays an extremely competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
