Bradley Personnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for on-site work in North Carolina. The role requires reading blueprints, setting up machines, and achieving tight tolerances down to 0.0002 inches.

You will operate mills, lathes, grinders and drilling equipment and collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve machining issues. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, up to two years of machining experience or related training, and the ability to interpret

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints.
• Ability to perform basic calculations with numbers between 0.0001 and 0.1.
• Ability to convert between metric and US standard units.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours.
• Must meet print tolerances down to 0.0002 in.

Responsabilités

• Uses blueprints, sketches, drawings, and job instruction sheets to produce dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece.
• Cuts tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, machining centers, drill presses, and drill machines.
• Enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit control information for CNC machines.
• Sets up, operates, and monitors machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust controls.
• Uses measurement tools to evaluate finished parts against specifications.
• Performs data entry on the computer to update part locations.
• Maintains 5S standards of organization and housekeeping.
• Attends departmental meetings and participates in improvement efforts.
