Job summary

Power Lift Acquisition Inc. is seeking a CNC laser tube and sheet operator in the United States to set up and run laser cutting machines to produce parts that meet customer quality requirements.

You will follow prints and destination instructions and monitor performance. Key duties include selecting cutting programs and fixtures, establishing proper stop locations and focal points, performing set-ups and routine maintenance, and conducting dimensional inspections.

Qualifications

• Operate laser cutting equipment to meet part specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspections and report defects.
• Read and interpret prints and set up fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical laser cutting operations.
• Select cutting programs, and proper fixtures.
• Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Perform prescribed maintenance as required.
• Perform all dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
• May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.
• Operates a forklift
