Job summary

Power Lift & Co. is seeking a CNC laser cutting operator to set up and run tube and sheet laser cutting machines. You will follow prints, monitor performance and ensure parts meet quality specs.

Responsibilities include selecting cutting programs, fixtures, establishing stop locations, performing required setups and maintenance, and inspecting dimensions. Forklift operation may be required as production needs evolve.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical laser cutting operations.
• Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures.
• Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Perform prescribed maintenance as required.
• Perform all dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
• May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.
• Operates a forklift.
