Job summary

Morgan Steel, LLC is seeking a skilled Tube Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Tube Laser Operator will set up, operate, and maintain CNC tube laser cutting machines to cut metal tubes and pipes according to specifications.

You will read blueprints and CAD drawings, adjust laser settings, load materials, perform routine maintenance, and inspect parts for quality. A High school diploma is required, with prior CNC laser experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading blueprints, CAD drawings and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC tube laser cutting machines to cut and process metal tubing and pipes according to job specifications.
• Read blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to determine cutting dimensions and parameters.
• Set up and adjust machine settings for optimal cutting performance.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts or hoists.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot laser cutting equipment.
• Inspect cut parts for quality using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
