Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Laser Operator to operate and set up CNC laser equipment, cut metal parts to specification, and perform routine checks before and after operation.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, 6+ months of CNC laser experience (fiber laser preferred), blueprint reading skills, and basic computer skills. Onsite work with safety-focused responsibilities and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months CNC laser operator experience (fiber laser preferred).
• Willing to train for the role.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals and read dimensions.
• Basic computer skills for routine tasks.
• Plan and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CNC laser and set up the machine.
• Use hand tools as needed and load programs.
• Adjust machine parameters and focal points for accuracy.
• Perform dimensional inspections and maintain schedule.
• Report defects and troubleshoot the machine.
• Coordinate with purchasing on sheet steel and consumables.
• Operate forklift/equipment for material handling (>50 lbs).
• Interpret work orders, blueprints and BOMs; assist deburring as needed.
