Job summary

Qualifications

• Math skills to read and comprehend instructions in English and complete simple logs/reports in English.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for long shifts.
• Must follow scheduled hours and company timekeeping policies.
• Stamina to stand through entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.
• Ability to learn machining concepts and use measuring devices.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to optimize processes.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain quality standards.
• Demonstrates reliability and consistent performance.
• Detail-oriented with ability to adapt to changing production demands.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions.
• Install machine fixtures to ensure safe operation.
• Set up and operate machines (lathes, mills, drills, presses, CNC) per specs.
• Inspect operations and measure finished parts to verify tolerances.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety, wear PPE, use crane/buddy system.
• Perform other duties as needed to support production.
