Martin Sprocket & Gear seeks a precise Machine Operator to join a team producing high-quality mechanical power transmission components and related systems. You will set up and operate lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNCs, while ensuring parts meet tolerances and safety standards.

The role requires steady hands, basic machining knowledge, and the ability to read English instructions and logs. You’ll work Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, in a non-climate-controlled shop with growth

Qualifications

• Math skills required with ability to read English instructions and logs.
• Must be physically able to lift and move heavy items.
• Adhere to company timekeeping and policies.
• Stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.
• Learn basic machining concepts and use measurement devices.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to improve processes.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in work.
• Demonstrate reliability and consistent performance.
• Be adaptable to shifting production demands.

Responsabilités

• Follow production instructions from sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions.
• Install and align dies, punches, blades, or fixtures for machines.
• Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNCs.
• Inspect operations and measure finished parts for tolerances.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist in other duties or departments as needed.
