Servotronics, Inc. seeks a Machinist to set up and operate manual and CNC tools, producing precision parts to print specs. Read blueprints, select tooling, and apply correct speeds/feeds while maintaining quality records.

You will inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators, adjust setups as needed, and collaborate with engineers to optimize processes. This on-site NY role supports second shift operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of related experience or training.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
• Proficient in general math (fractions and decimals).
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Analyze technical drawings to determine machining requirements, tools, speeds, and feeds.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts during and after production.
• Adjust setups or offsets to meet print specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and document production results.
