Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience independently setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, or mill-turn equipment.
• Strong blueprint-reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Experience machining aerospace-grade alloys like stainless steel, titanium, Inconel.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift and lift tooling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning, milling, Swiss, or multi-axis machining equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and aerospace specs.
• Install and qualify tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools.
• Establish work coordinates and adjust offsets.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with precision instruments.
• Maintain close tolerances and verify dimensional conformity.
• Troubleshoot machining issues including tooling wear and surface finish.
• Program or edit CNC programs as needed.
• Follow safety, quality, and traceability requirements.
