Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow work order instructions.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Ability to train others and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience reading and using test/measurement equipment and operating machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specs or sample parts to determine dimensions and sequence of operations.
• Start and observe machine operation for malfunctions and adjust CNC programs or setup as required.
• Navigate CNC software and adjust programs to grind tools per print specifications.
• Verify conformance of finished parts using precision measurement tools.
• Return tooling to proper location upon completion and maintain safe guarding.
