Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, sketches, drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Start and observe machine operation and adjust as needed.
• Verify conformance of finished work with specs using precision tools.
• Grind tools within print tolerances per work instructions.
• Inspect tools and document results on reports.
• Set up machines and maintain safety guarding.
• Return tooling to correct location after completion.
• Train others as required and support continuous improvement.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as needed.
