You will read blueprints, set up machines, perform precise measurements using calipers and micrometers, and adhere to Lean and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication to collaborate across teams.
• Perform basic shop math and verify measurements.
• Follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply detailed specifications before starting any machining task to ensure quality precision.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to determine procedure for machining product.
• Operate machinery in accordance with training and equipment guidelines.
• Machine parts per work instructions and customer specifications.
• Inspect each finished part to ensure it meets all specifications and Silfex quality standards.
• Maintain machine and keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
