Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company seeks an experienced CNC programmer to develop, modify, and optimize programs for silicon and other brittle materials. This role connects engineering intent with manufacturing reality to ensure safe, repeatable processes that meet dimensional and cosmetic specs.

You will set up CNC machines, troubleshoot tooling and equipment, and contribute to process improvements using CAM, post processors, and DNC systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associated degree required.
• 5+ years CNC machining/programming experience preferred.
• Experience with silicon, glass, ceramics or brittle materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, certify, and maintain CNC programs using G/M-code, macro programming, and CAM-generated programs.
• Set up and operate CNC machining centers, grinders, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues related to CNC machines, tooling, fixtures, and consumables.
• Support process engineers by translating engineering requirements into executable manufacturing programs.
