Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on CMM operating experience in manufacturing or machining.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and dimensional inspection methods.
• Ability to independently set up inspections and document nonconforming material.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized bridge CMMs and portable measurement equipment.
• Execute established CMM programs and make routine edits or adjustments.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final dimensional, visual, and functional inspections per drawings and specs.
• Interpret GD&T requirements to select measuring equipment and evaluate dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain inspection records, measurement reports, and documentation supporting quality requirements.
