Job summary

Dover is seeking a Quality Inspector at the OPW Whitsett facility to inspect components, subassemblies, and finished products. You will verify conformance to drawings, specs, and customer requirements, identifying nonconforming material and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T, selecting inspection tools, and supporting calibration and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensions.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T and sampling plans (SPC) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections per drawings and specs.
• Verify workmanship and product requirements prior to release.
