Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on CMM operating experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Experience using CMM software to execute and edit measurement programs.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Ability to set up inspections independently and document results.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized bridge CMMs and portable measuring equipment (Romer/Faro).
• Execute established CMM programs and make routine edits as needed.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections per drawings and specs.
• Interpret GD&T and select appropriate measuring equipment.
• Maintain inspection records and PPAP-quality documentation.
• Identify nonconforming material and communicate with production/quality teams.
