Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• 3+ years of data entry experience.
• Diplomacy, professionalism and trustworthiness.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Knowledge of practice management software is a plus.
• Familiar with Windows PC applications, especially Excel.
• Able to learn new computer systems and applications.
• Experience handling mail and office supplies preferred.
• Multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Type 45-60 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into a health information system as a core function.
• Process and prep all written documents to be mailed.
• Track daily work (mail, scanning, letters) via weekly log.
• Perform clerical tasks in data processing and mailing function.
• Meet performance goals for efficiency, accuracy, quality, and attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.
