Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly

The Charge Entry Specialist will be required to complete data entry, scanning, and mail services. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail-oriented and handle a high volume of data, focusing on detecting and correcting errors.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Minimum 3+ Years of experience in data entry.
• Maintain strong skills in diplomacy, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
• Strong communication skills in both oral and written.
• Positive attitude, Team Player.
• Knowledge of practice management software is desired.
• Familiarity with computers and Windows PC applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• The ability to learn new computer systems and applications.
• Experience handling mail and office supplies preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Type 45-60 WPM.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• The Charge EntrySpecialist should expect to work frequently with a computer entering various data sets.
• Entering data into a health information system is a core function of the job.
• Process and prep all written documents to be mailed.
• Track daily work (mail, scanning, letters) via weekly log.
• Performs clerical tasks in the data processing and mailing function.
• Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction, and attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the department manager.
