Job summary

Colonial Group in Maryland is seeking a dedicated Butcher to prepare specialty cuts and support production. You will select products, cut to customer specs, and transport finished goods to packaging lines while maintaining product integrity.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience and a preference for those with food processing exposure and a High School Diploma or GED. This is a hands-on role requiring adherence to HACCP, OSHA, and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of previous work experience.
• Experience in a food processing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select products from pick tickets and stage for production.
• Cut product to meet customer specifications.
• Transport finished product to applicable packaging line using carts.
• Weigh product to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Replenish stock as needed.
• Maintain work area clean and orderly.
• Maintain product integrity with proper handling and report damage to management immediately.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Follow all HACCP, OSHA & GMP guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
