Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Grenada, MS is seeking a skilled Brazer to join our manufacturing team producing high-quality chillers for data centers. The Brazer will assemble and join copper and other metals using brazing techniques, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our cooling systems.

This role requires precise work, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

1+ years brazing/welding experience in manufacturing.
Proficiency with oxy-acetylene torches and brazing equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions for extended periods.
Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE.

Responsibilities

Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metals in chiller assemblies.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for proper assembly.
Set up and operate brazing torches and related equipment to form strong joints.
Inspect joints for quality and ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with welders and QA teams to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
Follow safety protocols and maintain organized work area per 5S/lean principles.
Identify defects or shortages and report to supervisor.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality.
