Responsibilities include final QC checks with supervision, following formula sheets, maintaining hygiene, and adhering to safety PPE and clean procedures during line changes. Strong reading and math skills required.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills for measuring and recording data.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for batch sheets and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow the schedule and call for batches from the meat room as required.
• Weigh all ingredients and record weight before batching.
• Record lot numbers and supplier for each ingredient used.
• Kitchen operator is the final QC check; notify QC and supervisor of anything unusual (e.g., batch too thick/thin, off color/odor).
• Follow formula guidelines on each batch sheet.
• Record batching information on formula kitchen sheets (gravy weight, water level, temps, additives).
• Clean and sanitize kitchen during can size changeovers or when notified by Supervisor.
• Follow rinse procedures for cleaning emulsifier and tanks 1, 2 & 3.
• Regulate dropping temperature per batch sheet guidelines or supervisor instructions.
