Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented individual to manage the blending room operations. You will determine batch ingredients, follow production schedules and monitor equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.

The role requires basic math, Excel proficiency, and willingness to work in a food manufacturing environment. Strong English communication is essential, and poultry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required and ability to read, write and speak English.
• Experience with MS Excel and basic math skills preferred.
• Poultry or food manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine product flow based on production schedule and ratios.
• Select ingredients to minimize cost per batch in line with schedule.
• Monitor equipment, perform basic maintenance and ensure cleaning procedures are followed.
• Calibrate and monitor metal detector; notify QA if out of variance.
• Maintain sanitation and follow lock-out tag procedures.
• Work with team to ensure BUS T practices and safety policies are followed.
