Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic math skills; ability to read, write and understand English.
• Follows batch sheets and QA checks during production.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow the schedule and call for batches from the meat room.
• Weigh ingredients and record weights before batching.
• Record lot numbers and supplier for each ingredient.
• Final QC check with supervisor; report any anomalies.
• Record batching information on batch sheets: gravy weight, water level, temps, additives.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen during can size changeovers or as directed.
• Maintain temperature and follow rinse procedures for equipment.
