Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Denton, TX is seeking a Production Technician to contribute to all phases of a team-oriented production process.

You will operate automated production equipment, diagnose machinery issues, assist in preventative maintenance, and ensure sanitation across equipment and production lines. You will rotate assignments, monitor equipment and product quality, and help meet order fulfillment targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Equivalent military training or at least 45 college credits may substitute for formal training.
• AIB "Science of Baking" course may count toward certification.

Responsibilities

• Check production work schedules and assignment timings.
• Operate facility equipment and perform start-up/shut-down sanitation.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety rules.
• Monitor production schedules, running order, and formulas.
• Weigh ingredients and ensure proper containers for products.
• Perform quality control inspections to meet gov't and company standards.
• Provide scheduled breaks for Production Technicians on shift as needed.
• Be a collaborative member of a high-functioning team.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
