Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Denton, TX is seeking a Production Technician to contribute to all phases of a team-oriented bakery production process.

You will operate automated equipment, assist with maintenance, and help ensure product safety, quality, and on-time order fulfillment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of related production experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related production experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training.
• Ability to operate safely and maintain quality in a food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Check production work schedule and report times.
• Operate facility metal detectors when assigned.
• Perform start-up/shut-down sanitation and limited maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe at all times.
• Maintain production schedules, running order, and formulas.
• Weigh and stage ingredients according to standards.
• Ensure products are loaded into proper containers.
• Perform quality control inspections and monitor standards.
• Provide scheduled breaks for technicians on shift.
• Be a strong, collaborative team member.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
