Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. seeks a Production Technician to contribute to all phases of a team-driven production process. You will operate automated equipment, diagnose machinery issues, support preventive maintenance, and ensure sanitation across related systems.

You must adapt to rotating assignments and help meet order fulfillment and product quality standards. Responsibilities include starting up/shutting down sanitation, monitoring safety, and supporting a collaborative production environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent plus a technical certification is required.
• Equivalent military training or 45 college credits may substitute for technical training.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production equipment; perform start-up/shut-down sanitation and limited preventive maintenance.
• Ensure clean, organized work areas and adherence to safety policies at all times.
• Maintain production schedules, running order, and formulas; scoop and stage ingredients per standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with government and company standards.
• Assist with safe, efficient operation and support a high-functioning production team.
