Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is hiring a Production Technician in Denton, TX. The role involves operating automated production equipment, diagnosing machinery issues, and rotating assignments to support order fulfillment and product quality.

The technician will master the production process, contribute to a safe work environment, and comply with company policies while supporting production and financial data systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with technical certification (HVAC, auto maintenance/repair, etc.).
• Equivalent military training or completion of at least 45 college credit hours may substitute for technical training.
• AIB "Science of Baking" course may count as certification.

Responsibilities

• Check production work schedule for assignments and times.
• Operate facility metal detector; trained and certified.
• Perform start-up/shut-down sanitation and limited preventative maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and compliant with safety rules.
• Maintain production schedules, running order, and formulas; stage ingredients.
• Load product into proper containers and ensure proper packaging.
• Perform quality control inspections and monitor government and company standards.
• Provide scheduled breaks for Production Technicians on shifts.
• Be an active team member; perform other duties as directed by supervision.
