Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a machine shop, can read blueprints, and precisely handle calipers, height gauges, and common assembly tools. Day shift, Mon–Fri, with a focus on quality and safety in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in machine shop assembly or similar setting.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints, drawings and docs.
• Ability to follow written assembly instructions and procedures.
• Proficiency with calipers, height gauges and common assembly tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts following manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
• Perform mechanical assembly including Helicoils and Dowel Pins.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to meet tolerances and quality standards.
• Use calipers and height gauges to verify dimensions.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Maintain assembly equipment and tools in good condition.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to meet requirements.
• Accurately complete Job Traveler documentation.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety issues.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
