South Bay Solutions seeks an Assembly Technician to join our high-precision machine shop. You will assemble parts in accordance with manufacturing documentation and ensure all assemblies meet customer quality requirements and company standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a machine shop environment, reads simple blueprints, and uses calipers and height gauges. Safety and attention to detail are essential.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in machine shop assembly preferred.
• Experience with Helicoils and Dowel Pins is advantageous.
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain quality.

Mansioni

• Assemble parts per manufacturing docs and work instructions.
• Perform mechanical assembly, including Helicoils and dowel pins.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure tolerances and quality.
• Use calipers/height gauges to verify dimensions.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
• Collaborate with QC to meet customer requirements.
• Accurately document job travelers throughout assembly.
• Identify and report malfunctions or hazards.
• Follow safety, manufacturing requirements, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
