Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Laguna Hills is seeking an Assembly Technician I to assemble electronic, optical and mechanical components, including soldering, wiring and testing of metrology systems per drawings. The role involves pulling kits, team collaboration on prototypes, and general shop duties.

Calibration is a plus; 2-5 years of production experience, precision tools knowledge, and Dexterity with basic math, writing, and computer skills are preferred. Benefits offered after hire.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a production environment.
• Knowledge of precision measuring tools and reading blueprints.
• Dexterity and detail oriented.
• Basic math, writing, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic, optical and mechanical components, including soldering, wiring, fabricating, testing, inspecting and troubleshooting of metrology systems using hand tools and power tools per drawings.
• Pull kits for assembly.
• Calibration is a plus!
• Work with team to build, test and develop prototype and special order systems.
• General shop work, cleaning and organizing.
• Other duties as required.
