Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an A&T Technician III for the 2nd shift at our Buffalo, NY location. You will report to the Assembly and Test Supervisor and perform precision assembly and a range of test operations on high-precision systems.

This onsite role requires interpreting drawings, following instructions, and maintaining documentation of performance results. The position emphasizes mechanical diagnostics, use of hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment, and strict adherence to EHS

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow English instructions.
At least 3 years related experience in a technical field.
Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting mechanical components and test failures.
Set up and perform operational tests of finished products using hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform precision assembly on complex systems.
Assemble products using torque wrenches, fixtures, gages and tools.
Conduct test operations to validate product acceptance.
Work from drawings and instructions and document performance results.
Communicate test failures and support rework as needed.
Ensure units are tested per current revision and notify supervisor of abnormalities.
Use measuring equipment to verify conformance with test requirements.
Understand department production goals and report deviations.
