Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an A&T Technician III for the 1st shift in Buffalo, NY. The role involves precision assembly, diagnostic testing, and documentation of performance results in a high-precision environment.

You will operate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical test equipment, follow detailed instructions, and ensure products meet current revision standards while maintaining strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred or demonstrated ability to understand and follow instructions.
• At least 3 years related experience in a technical field.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical components and test failures.
• Set up and perform operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic equipment.
• Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Use and maintain the ERP system to record product builds, SNs, and material use.
• Adhere to EHS and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly on complex systems and support various applications.
• Assemble products using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges and related devices.
• Conduct diverse tests (hydraulic, mechanical, electrical) to verify product acceptance.
• Read drawings and instructions and document performance results clearly.
• Communicate any test failures and assist in reworking as needed.
• Ensure units are tested per current revision letters and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Use measuring equipment to validate conformance with test requirements.
• Understand department production goals and report deviations as appropriate.
