Job summary

Summit Polymers in Michigan is seeking an Operator, Assembly to operate molding machines and assemble parts under supervision. You will use simple hand tools, trim, label, weigh, and pack parts, while monitoring quality per instruction sheets and standard guidelines.

The role requires following safety procedures and keeping workstations clean. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, good manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret instructions, perform basic QC checks,

Qualifications

• Reads, understands, and follows Operator Instruction Sheet.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift and handle parts as part of assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows instruction sheets to determine parts and packing.
• Retrieves, inspects, counts, weighs, packs, and labels parts.
• Operates molding machines and assemblies parts per safety procedures.
• Monitors production quality and records outcomes.
• Performs simple clerical tasks and maintains clean work station per 5S.
