Job summary

Summit Polymers in Kentucky is seeking an Production Operator/Assembler to perform molding machine operation and assembly of molded parts. The role includes packing, labeling, and routine quality checks under supervision.

Responsibilities include following standard work, recording production data, maintaining cleanliness per 5S, and assisting with mold changes and setup for the next job. High School Diploma or GED is required; standing for long shifts and lifting up to 30 lbs is necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow instructions and use simple hand tools.
• Must be able to stand for the full shift and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow Operator Instruction Sheets to determine part numbers and inspection requirements.
• Retrieve, inspect, weigh, pack, and label parts per written or oral instructions.
• Operate molding machines and assembly equipment; report variances affecting quality.
• Monitor production quality against approved samples and record data as required.
• Keep work area clean and comply with 5S guidelines.
• Assist with color/mold changes and set up for next job.
