Based in Ames, IA, the position can consider a hybrid schedule. You will gain knowledge through study, training, and collaboration, supporting farming operations worldwide and aiding product advancement.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in related Agricultural or technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience using a computer system to perform daily tasks.
• Understanding of basic electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and effectively communicate any problems encountered in daily work.
• Background in production agriculture preferred with aptitude for hardware and software technical systems.
• Previous customer service or in-field support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding technical support and customer service for customers via telephone or email.
• Gain expert knowledge through study, support and training on Ag Leader products.
• Process orders and document product and customer information.
• Provide input for continual improvement and development in a team environment.
• Assist Support Specialists with review of technical documents and presentations.
• Other duties as assigned.
