Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector for a full-time 2nd shift role in Connecticut. You will perform first-piece, in-process, receiving, and final inspections of precision components to ensure conformance with drawings, tolerances, and customer specifications.

You will use micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, and fixtures to verify dimensions, document results, and collaborate with machine operators to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of aerospace quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators.
• Understanding of dimensional tolerances and manufacturing inspection practices.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, technical manuals, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, receiving, and final inspections of precision-manufactured components.
• Review drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Determine inspection methods to verify dimensions, tolerances, surface conditions, and other requirements.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, fixtures, and other measuring equipment to verify conformance.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Communicate inspection findings with production personnel and supervisors.
• Coordinate with CNC machinists and production staff to resolve dimensional or quality concerns.
