Horst Engineering & Manufacturing Company is seeking a Senior Inspector for our East Hartford, CT plant. The role focuses on inspecting and recording dimensions of aerospace components to ensure conformance with blueprints and customer specifications. The position is office-based, with 1st and 2nd shifts available, and includes a 15% shift differential for 2nd shift.

Qualifications include an A.S. degree or equivalent, 5+ years of experience, and familiarity with GE Aviation and Raytheon

Qualifications

• A.S. degree or equivalent experience in engineering/technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection.
• Experience with GE Aviation, Raytheon Technologies or Pratt & Whitney aircraft components preferred.
• Knowledge of FAI, PPAP, ECAV reports and related documentation.

Responsabilités

• Perform full inspections and first piece inspections.
• Record dimensions per blueprints, process sheets and reports.
• Review process certifications and production documentation.
• Execute visual and dimensional inspection using precision instruments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues.
