Job summary
PrideNow is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for aerospace and defense manufacturing. The role emphasizes hands-on machining, CNC programming, fixture design, and a strong grasp of Lean and SPC to drive process excellence, product quality, and continuous improvement.
The engineer will develop CNC programs, design fixtures, and support maintenance and inspection procedures while ensuring AS9100D and ISO 9001 compliance and participating in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience with CNC programming and machining operations.
- Strong fixture design and workholding experience.
- Experience in manufacturing process development and optimization.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and calibration.
- Experience with cost estimating and quoting.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and optimize CNC programs for complex machining operations.
- Design and implement fixtures and workholding for precision manufacturing.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes with Lean and SPC.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Develop and support maintenance programs for production equipment.
- Establish inspection procedures for in-process and final product verification.
- Prepare cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
- Ensure processes meet AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards.
- Participate in audits and support corrective actions.
