Actalent seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of precision-machined aerospace manufacturing processes. You will create process documentation, assess CAD drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing readiness and robust production methods.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering and process development for precision-machined aerospace components.
• Ability to create and maintain process documentation including routings and work instructions.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement and structured problem solving.
• Experience interpreting drawings, GD&T, and CAD models to establish processes.
• Experience with NPI activities, process validation, and manufacturing readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing methods for aerospace components.
• Create and maintain process flows, routings, travelers, operation sheets, and work instructions.
• Review drawings and CAD models to establish manufacturing processes and production methods.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, CNC Programming, Operations, and Production teams to improve performance.
• Support NPI activities including readiness, first article, and process implementation.
• Develop manufacturing documentation to ensure repeatable processes.
• Participate in process validation and capability studies.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, throughput, and efficiency.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective action using structured problem solving.
• Engage in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
