YPAI is seeking a German transcription editor to correct automatic transcripts for short German speech recordings using Praat. You will ensure exact transcription, adjust word timings, and mark unintelligible passages.

Work involves reviewing each WAV with its TextGrid and delivering a corrected TextGrid per recording. Applicants should have native or near-native German, a good headset, reliable internet, and be 18 years or older.

Responsabilidades

• Open each WAV recording with its automatic TextGrid in Praat.
• Correct the transcript to match the recording, including incomplete words, invented words and single sounds.
• Check and correct the start and end time of every word and fragment.
• Leave pauses empty and mark unintelligible passages without guessing.
