YPAI seeks a meticulous German transcriber to correct automatic transcripts and timings for short German speech recordings in Praat. Transcribe exactly what you hear, preserving repetitions and hesitations, and mark unintelligible passages without guessing.

Open WAV recordings, adjust word timings, and deliver a corrected TextGrid per recording. Work is by invitation; biweekly payments are made via PayPal, Wise or bank transfer.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native command of German.
• A good headset and reliable internet.
• 18 years or older.

Responsabilités

• Open WAV recordings with their automatic TextGrid in Praat.
• Correct the transcript to match the recording, including incomplete words and invented words.
• Check and correct the start and end time of every word and fragment.
• Leave pauses empty.
• Mark unintelligible passages and do not guess words from context.
• Deliver one corrected TextGrid per recording.
