Job summary

You will transcribe exactly what you hear, preserving repetitions, hesitations, incomplete words, invented words, and single sounds.

You will open each WAV recording with its TextGrid, correct transcripts to match the recording, adjust start and end times for every word, and mark unintelligible passages without guessing

Qualifications

• Native or near-native command of German.
• A good headset and reliable internet.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Open each WAV recording with its automatic TextGrid in Praat.
• Correct the transcript to match the recording, including incomplete words, invented words and single sounds.
• Check and correct the start and end time of every word and fragment.
• Leave pauses empty.
• Mark unintelligible passages. Do not guess words from context.
• Deliver one corrected TextGrid per recording.
