Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Sales Estimating Coordinator to turn customer requirements into detailed technical drawings for precast concrete structures. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Production to interpret plans and drive from estimate to production.

This on-site role offers a base salary of 50,000–75,000 USD per year, plus a 5% annual bonus, 401(k), health benefits, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of precast concrete design and construction principles.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing submittal drawings and production drawings for precast concrete components.
• Reviewing and analyzing construction documents, including specifications and addenda.
• Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to ensure accuracy.
• Assisting with material take-offs and hardware details for production.
• Checking drawings for errors and adherence to project requirements.
• Making changes to drawings based on feedback from engineers or clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
