Job summary

Geoquest USA, Inc. in Labelle, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance of property, equipment and mechanical systems in support of safety, quality and efficiency.

This role reports to the Plant Manager and leads a maintenance team to sustain production uptime. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma with 3+ years supervisory experience in an industrial setting or an associate degree, with strong communication skills and knowledge of electrical, plumbing and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3+ years supervisory or 5+ years leadership in industrial environment.
• Associate degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, machine operation and general maintenance.
• Ability to read and teach how to read technical plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain safe work procedures and practices.
• Develop and implement schedule for regular maintenance and upkeep of property.
• Develop implement and oversee the preventative maintenance of equipment for reliability and effectiveness.
• Research and implement best practices for facility maintenance and repairs.
• Development and implement audit programs for mechanical systems.
• Schedule and assign tasks to staff with oversight.
• Manage maintenance staff, including schedules, training, coaching and development.
• Ensure maintenance team complies with relevant regulations and policies.
• Develop and maintain critical parts list for key equipment.
• Coordinate and administer vendor contracts for service, repair and parts.
• Oversee inventory of tools and parts for preventative maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records electronically.
• Provide regular reports on maintenance progress.
• Monitor and optimize costs to meet budgetary goals.
• Work with team to develop and improve SOPs for critical tasks.
• Prepare and provide maintenance budget requests.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Apply knowledge of new technology to improve maintenance program and equipment.
