Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The role requires 1–3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Assist in installation, setup, and calibration of new or repaired equipment.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including service logs and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.

• Experience with automated or computerized manufacturing equipment preferred.

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Vocational Degree Preferred
